In The Beginning

When a dancer steps into the studio we will start them right off on the basic techniques of Irish dancing. We want the dancers to have a good foundation so we will continue to review these basis techniques throughout their dancing education. Posture, foot placement and timing are very important to an Irish dancer. With a strong foundation a dancer will be able to perform more complicated steps as they progress. Please remember that every dancer will progress at their own pace. Maturity level, motivation and natural talent and rhythm will play a part in pace at which they progress. Our program is geared to allow for the natural progression of each dancer. We work to make sure each dancer enjoys the learning process so that they will look forward to each class.
